I am more known for my 'ultra distance' running achievements but due to a serious knee injury that has seen me have a complete right knee replacement I have been forced to retire from long distance running.

However and determined as ever I am back into the Ultra distance challenges- as a cyclist and now able to continue my achievements in Fundraising.

I have chosen 'The Mayor of Walsall's Charities' to benefit from this event  , The Mayor -Councillor Tom Ansell has the Charities 'WALSALL HOSPICE' (details below) and GOLDEN WISHES,a charity that grants wishes to terminally ill Children and also donates equipment to Hospitals as his chosen charities. Both are worthy causes to support and by supporting myself on this challenge you will be helping to raise much needed funds for worthy causes.
