As you may know, Mum was a patient at Christie's for some time and we are eternally grateful for the wonderful care she received there. The hospital is always looking to raise funds for new equipment and facilites so we've set up a Gill Jamison Memorial Trust Fund with Christie's to try and do our bit.

The recent ABBA Tribute Night organised by Monica and Mike Schofield and held at Dukinfield Town Hall was a fantastic success.  The evening involved champagne, a 'black tie' dinner, swing singer Jack Barclay, a great set by Bootleg ABBA plus guest appearances by one or two celebs.  We have now posted most (but not all) of the money that was raised and as you can see we have already smashed our fund raising target of £20,000 by over £8,500!!.  Massive thanks to everyone who contributed and of course to Monica, Mike and 'the team' for all their hard work. 

Photographs were taken professionally on the night can still be viewed at  joannaphotography.com (click on events).  A portion of the proceeds of any sales will be donated to this fund.

Whats next?  Probably back to the White Hart in Spring for our second annual JGM Dinner and Dance - keep watching here for details.
