I will be riding (and leading) Marv - a 16.1hh Clydesdale X gelding (10yr old) from John O Groats to Lands End (1100 miles) starting 29 Apr 07 and finishing 12 weeks later (mid July). The solo trek will be unsupported and I will be sleeping out with the horse on many nights. I plan on averaging 20miles/ day and have a rest day per week. I will pay for the full cost of the trek. All monies raised will go to charity.
