BUPA Great North Run 2007 · 30 September 2007 ·

The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Well, I have completed my first Great North Run, in 3hrs 22minutes! I really enjoyed it, and even managed a better time that Carol Vorderman hahaha!

I am delighted with my time, and have aches today in places I never knew a person could ache ; )

I still need to raise some more cash to get to my target of £350 so please contniue to sponsor me... I tried my very hardest and am very pleased with myself : )

My family has been fundraising for FSID's since the 1970's, when my parent's first daughter Julia died of Cot Death at just 7 months old. I love to watch the Great North Run on the TV and every year am inspired to do it, but never get around to applying... But this year will have been Julia's 30th Birthday, so I decided to apply to race through FSID's. We also have a lot of other events planned to mark this special year, under the title "The 30thon"! ( see www.justgiving.co.uk/30thon )

Your support is really appreciated - George xxx
