What a way to start the year !

It has been a couple of weeks since I went "back to site" and the money still keeps coming in.  I am personally touched by all the contributions we have received.

Maybe we can reach 150% of our original target and get to £25,000.

I have "gone back to site" and it was an amazing experience.  I am also delighted to report that our initial target of £10,000 has been reached.

How totally excellent it would be if we could give even more money to such a worthy cause.  Maybe we will reach £15,000.

In aid of charity, I have decided to "go back to the shop floor" or in our case construction site to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  Cancer affects one in four people in the UK and it touches many of our lives either directly or through our loved ones.

Marie Curie Cancer Care is an excellent charity that helps terminally ill people be at home with their family during their last days. They provide essential nursing help for the ill as well as emotional support for their family.

The opportunity has now come for me to do my part for this charity and to go back to site.  I am looking to raise £10,000 and with your help and support we can raise this money.  My plan is to spend two days on site on the 28th and 29th of November, where I will be working on the tools as directed by my foreman.  I look forward to this opportunity to work directly with our operatives, hopefully they will not be too hard on me.
