Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I recently finished the Great North Run in 1 hour 17 minutes and 58 seconds and came 94th out of around 52,000 other runners. This was the third Great North Run I'd done - the first was in 2004 in memory of my Mum. I finished that run in just over 2 hours that is around 45 minutes slower than this time. The event has become a real focus for12 me and I've set a target and am making a real effort to improve on my personal best each time, always with my Mum in mind, who was very competitive, and also in recognition of the generosity of my sponsors.

If you would like to support me I am also running the cabbage patch 10 mile run this weekend (19th October) where I will be endeavouring to further improve my best time in this event..

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure, it's also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Breast Cancer Campaign gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
