In the spirit of audacity and insanity, we have signed up for a 7 day, 250 km trek across the Gobi Desert of China, located along the ancient Silk Road. It’s part of 4 Deserts, named by TIME magazine as one of the top 10 Endurance Competitions worldwide. The race starts on 14th June and is organised by RacingThePlanet, a roving footrace event that takes place in remote and culturally rich locations across the globe. While we probably won’t finish in the top few, we’ll do our utmost to complete it with respectable timings and have decided to do our part for charity by raising funds for the international charity organization Save the Children. Money raised will go to fighting for children’s rights and helping children in need globally through education, health care and economic opportunities.
