Story

“My story”:
A few years ago my mother developed and then was diagnosed with dementia. It was (and has been) a difficult time.
I want to support the fight against dementia:
- There are currently 800,000 people with dementia in the UK.
- There will be over a million people with dementia by 2021.
- Two thirds of people with dementia are women.
- The proportion of people with dementia doubles for every 5 year age group.
- Only 44% of people with dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland receive a diagnosis
If you can help me raise some money, that'd be great.
Also, if it takes me longer than 50 minutes, I'll personally give £5 for each of the first 20 people who sponsor me (i.e. up to £100)
