Clandon Regis Golf club inSurrey is playing host to a Golf Marathon on the longest day of 2008, raising money for The Wooden Spoon.
This year Will Goy, a long term member of the ever maturing parkland course near Guildford has taken on the mantle of running the fairways from dawn until dusk in an effort to raise over £1000 for this great charity devoted to helping the lives of disadvantaged children within the U.K. and Ireland
Single handily, Will is looking to play over 11 rounds at the 6500 yard course in little over 16 hours of light in an attempt to break previous records held for the event, but his ambition lies within raising much needed monies for The Wooden Spoon Charity.
It is for this reason that we need your help in achieving Will’s ambitious aims for the event on the 21 of June and we ask you all to give generously. For further information on The wooden Spoon Charity then please use the link below
We would like to Thank Pro Feet, IMS, Jessie Graham, The Surrey Advertiser and The Wooden Spoon for their support of the event.
