Hello there. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2011 I ran a total of 1000 km (621.4 miles, or basically a bit over 2 marathons a month - or to make it sound really impressive, a million metres!) in just under a year in aid of Build Africa as part of the 10th anniversary shenanigans for Join Me (http://www.join-me.co.uk), a group I've been involved with since it began. 

But that's not quite far enough, so to finish (myself) off, I'm running the 2012 Edinburgh Marathon on May 27th.

Previously, Join Me has raised enough money for Build Africa to build a whole new classroom, and the money I've raised so far (and hopefully any more I raise) will go towards renovating two classrooms in a primary school in Kenya. It's a great cause, aiming to get people out of poverty by giving kids an education.
