We provide medical care and support to vulnerable people, through our clinics, outreach work and advice line, with our volunteers and expert staff. Together, we advocate for everyone's right to healthcare access. DOTW UK is part of the Médecins du Monde network, present in 70+ countries.

Story

Hello

Feeling a bit Tom Dick?  Isn't it comforting to know that you can just pop down the road to the doctor's and pick up a sick note for a few relaxing days off work.

Unfortunately not everyone has that luxury.  A luxury that should be a human right.  I am running the Royal Parks half marathon for a wicked charity called Doctors of the World (formerly Médecins du Monde).

Doctors of the World is an international humanitarian aid organisation which provides medical care to vulnerable populations who are in crisis situations or who are excluded from healthcare. This is thanks to medical and non-medical volunteers who give their time and expertise to help to make health a human right.

You have all seen the appalling images of the terrible floods in Pakistan? Well DOW UK is out there right now. They have deployed mobile clinics to three sites in the districts of Nowshera and Charsadda, reaching 50,000 people. Help me to help them reach more.

Don't dither, you will only forget!  Please help me to make a difference today.
