:
Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation
rYico is a charity founded in response to the needs of vulnerable young people in Rwanda. rYico has set up Centre Marembo, a training and resource centre that supports the personal development, education and training of young people including those that have been orphaned, neglected or left vulnerable as a result of the 1994 genocide.
rYico also aims to increase social and cultural understanding about Rwanda within and between the UK and Rwanda though cultural exchange and education.

| My personal message: |
Hi! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. In awful weather I completed my first ever half marathon in 1 hour 54 minutes! I did it to raise vital funds for Centre Marembo, rYico's project in Rwanda that works to increase opportunities to vulnerable young people. The project was partly set up by Nicky Palmer who was brought up in Cricklade where I live. It would be great to be able to support this amazing work she is doing.
There are so many ways that your donation will help rYico. Just £10 will guarantee that one of the children at the centre can eat for 2 weeks. £15 will buy the uniform and books that children need to start school or enable a teenager to start an apprenticeship. Many children that live on the street are addicted to glue. £25 will pay for regular drugs counselling workshops to inform the children about the dangers of drugs. The list is endless…Essentially, every penny counts towards enabling the children to be in a safe place and make informed decisions about their futures.
If you donate online, rYico will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support....please dig deep!
