Thanks for visiting Gordon and Gary's fundraising page.

Between the 3rd and 7th June 2009 we will be cycling the 460km (285 miles) between London to Paris.  Yes....we will be cycing 460km in just 4 days!

Why the hell would we do that??  Well, for as good a reason as you could imagine...

Tom is a fantastic 6 year-old wee boy.  He has 3 sisters - his twin Rosie and his twin big sisters Kate and Morven, who are 8.  As you can imagine their mum and dad, Chris and Vicky, have their hands full looking after 4 kids...we would know as we've both been friends of theirs for over 20 years.

But young Tom has had cerebral palsy from a very young age, is disabled and needs a lots and lots of care and attention.

Tom and loads of other kids like him need a huge amount of help and care...but just as importantly, so do their parents and families.  

Action for Children have been absolutely fantastic in helping our very good friends Chris and Vicky by providing support and respite care for Tom, looking after him and giving his mum and dad much needed relief. 

Their work in the Tayavalla Project in Falkirk is amazing and helps dozens of kids and their families, but like all Charity Funded projects it relies on all the support they can get.

If we can help by getting very sore bums and thighs from 6 months of training, and then 4 days of hell in June, it will all be more than worth it.

Action For Children are absolutely invaluable to Tom, his family and loads of other families like them and they need all the help they can get.
