Women's Aid is the national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. Women's Aid provides a package of 24 hour lifeline services for women experiencing domestic violence including the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline, run in partnership between Women's Aid and Refuge and the Women's Aid website www.womensaid.org.uk

Thank you for visiting our London Marathon fundraising page. This year we have chosen to take part in the event for Women's Aid, the national charity working to end domestic violence, for whom we are both proud Ambassadors.

We have chosen to support Women's Aid because of Gordon’s personal experiences of growing up with an abusive father and because they do so much fantastic work to help tens of thousands of women and children living in fear in their own homes.

We hope that by being sponsored to take part in the London Marathon we will be able to raise a large amount of money for this excellent cause and ask you to please show your support by sponsoring us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Women's Aid Federation Of England will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep and give what you can!
