Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I will be cycling 420km across one of the most ecologically rich and unique countries on the planet, Madagascar, whilst helping Computer Aid International deliver vital IT education to communities in need. This bike ride takes me on a 5 day cycle in the north east of the island. We will cycle through highland villages and paddy fields, the lush tropical fruit plantations and coastal trails. The terrain is an exciting combination of tarmac and dusty red-earth off road trails. Far away from the modern comforts of daily life, this will be an unforgettable experience and worth every penny I raise for Computer Aid International. The £2,700 sponsorship that I aim to raise is enough to provide an entire 20 PC lab to a disadvantaged school for the first time. Obviously the more that I raise, the more schools Computer Aid can supply with a PC Lab. This is the first time I have attempted to raise money for charity and I am only just beginning to realise what I am letting myself in for. Being a total fundraising novice, I am going to put down cheeky requests: If you want me to wear your logo/t-shirt while out training, you will have to come up with some serious amounts of cash.
