My personal message:

Hello everyone!

I can't believe that today is the day that I finally set off for China and the trek.  I'm absolutely overwhelmed to have now raised over £7,600 to help more adults and children like Calum.  I started with a target of £3,000 but the brilliant generosity of my friends, family and colleagues has meant that I soon soared way upwards so my heartfelt thanks and respect to everyone who has donated.

It's not too late to sponsor me, so please let all your own friends, colleagues and family know what I'm doing and who I'm doing it for!
