Lorraine Lockie, Managing Partner of Gorvins Solicitors is taking on the challenge of her life by cycling from Tanzania to Zanzibar, joined by friends Rachel Spooncer, Joelle Warren, Deborah Cooper, Vicky Lawton & Judith Nicol. 

As a team they will be cycling across rugged African terrain enduring blistering heat and uneven, rocky roads all to raise money for The Genesis Research Trust. Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world, with many of its people living well below the World Bank poverty line. 

The Genesis Research Trust is a fantastic charity which funds ground-breaking medical research to improve prevention and treatment of devastating conditions affecting women and babies including miscarriage, premature birth, brain damage, genetic diseases and cancer. This is a charity close to our hearts as we will all know someone who has been affected by or experienced one of the horrendous conditions Genesis is trying to eradicate. Therefore we need YOUR help in raising funds for this very worthwhile cause.
