Who are we?
Positive Action League are a small group of friends who like to travel a little off the beaten track and while we do, try and leave a little magic where we can. We support charities relevant to where we are going and have had great success so far. There is a video of our last trip to Cambodia and Vietnam on this page. We have no grand visions, just to make little differences where we can, so even if you give £2, it helps. Blow are what you can expect a donation to help with:
£10 may not buy a lot on it's own - but when added to our crisis fund for the destitute it can have a huge impact.£20 maintains vital independence for an elderly, ill person by providing nursing and care in their own home.
£50 funds a "Back to School Pack" (haircut, clothing, footwear,schoolbag and materials), enabling a former street child to start a new life with dignity.
£100 is the cost of a week's food for 20 children rescued from the streets and sewers, making a fresh start in our refuge for former street children.
£150 can provide a sustainable master plan to rescue a family from the poverty trap and get the children back to school.
What is Snow Ninjaz: Romania 2010?
On 17th of April this year a PALA Team will embark on a three day trek deep into the heart of Romania to the edge of the Southern Carpathian Mountains, the destination: Poenari Castle, home of Prince Vlad Tepes III or as most people know him… Dracula. We will be staying with the locals in the area and posting stories, photos and video of the trek.
The trek is to raise money for our chosen charity for the event, Relief Fund for Romania.
