The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

My name is Grace and I'm 8 years old. I am raising money for Tearfund because coronavirus is bad all around the world and Tearfund is supporting people living in poverty by building water tanks and taps so that people can wash their hands and drink fresh water.

On Sunday 26th April I will be tap dancing 32 lengths of my road, which is 2.6km, as part of the 2.6 challenge to raise money for Tearfund. We will be live streaming my challenge on Facebook at 1.30pm (as far as the WiFi will reach) so you can watch and cheer me on at https://www.facebook.com/sjarv/videos/10163391544260557. You don't need a Facebook account to watch.

We measured my road and it's 81m from our gate to the end of the road, so I'll be doing that 32 times. I've been tap dancing since I was 6 but I have never danced such a long way before. I'll be doing lots of different moves like tap step ball changes and paradiddles.

I'm so excited about this and I really hope you can sponsor me!
