Story

=================================================================

First Entry: 12th January 2008

"SWIM ,  BIKE ,  RUN"

On 9th August 2008, we will be taking part in the London Sprint Triathlon to raise money for COSMIC.

COSMIC (Children Of St Mary's Intensive Care) is the charity that supports the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington.

We will be raising money in memory of Grace Bradburn who died on 24th April 2007, aged 13 months.  Please visit www.justgiving.com/gracebradburn to read Grace's story, and learn about the work of COSMIC.

Our team members are Grace's Mum and two of her very close friends, Sarah Spencer & Susy Peycke.  Training has already started for the event, so we should all be nice and fit by August!  The Triathlon involves a 750m swim in the Thames (equivalent to 30 lengths), 20k on the bike and finally, a 5k run!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COSMIC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, please "Gift Aid" your donation, so that an extra 28% in tax can be added to your gift at NO EXTRA COST to you.

Many thanks for your support.  Your donation will make a very real difference to many critically ill children and their families.

Thanks

Natalie, Sarah and Susy.
