Story

The Dickinson's are doing the 3 Peaks Challenge.

Thank you for supporting the 3 PEAKS CHALLENGE taking place on 8-9 June 2013, the next big charity event to raise money for Pete’s Pancreas Project.  It promises to be a tough but rewarding 24 hours climbing Britain’s highest peaks, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

The reason we are doing this challenge is to raise money for Pete’s Pancreas Project, a charity set up by my friend Daniel Dowen & the Hepatobiliary Unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

Anything you can donate is appreciated enormously and will go towards researching Acinar Cell tumours, a type of cancer that has affected Daniel's father, Pete.  Currently there is no evidence to inform doctors and surgeons on how to best treat this rare cancer.

You can find out more information on the charity at our webpagewww.petespancreasproject.co.uk.

Thank you,
