Graham's Hebridean Way

Hebridean Way · 10 April 2017
Homelessness and poverty are still significant issues in Glasgow - you don't need to look far to see or read about this. Yet Glasgow City Mission is just doing some amazing things to make a big difference, not just to manage homelessness, but to end it!
I am privileged and humbled to be part of the team and spend most of my time thanking fundraisers and helping others to make our work possible. It's been a couple of years though since my last personal challenge so The Hebridean Way it is - 185 miles cycling from Barra to the top of Lewis. Whilst I'm looking forward to some stunning scenery, I am cramming the trip into just 3 days cycling with hardly any time for training in advance. It's a big challenge but knowing people are cheering me on will make the miles go in faster!
If you're able to make a donation, not only will I be very grateful, the people we serve each day will be enormously so.
You can find out more about Glasgow City Mission and a recent day I had on the streets in our new magazine: http://www.glasgowcitymission.com/news-events/news/post.php?s=2017-03-02-home-is-tackling-rough-sleeping-in-the-latest-connect-magazine
