Thanks for visiting Graham Cole and Emma Philpott's fundraising page.

We've done it!

Graham completed London Marathon in a respectable 3.33 and Emma managed a last minute sprint finish to cross the finish line in 5.46. 

Thanks to your support we've raised almost £2000 for WellChild, a charity which helps sick children and their families across the UK. Thanks again we really appreciate your support.

The raffle for flights with Monarch Airlines has been drawn and our winner Deborah Shields will be flying out to sunnier climes sometime in the next 12 months.

This is the first marathon that either of us have attempted and we've been training towards this since the mad idea was hatched back in November. If the marathon wasn't tough enough, we'll have to do a 3.5 hour training run a few weeks before it!

April Update - We're almost there!

London Marathon is almost upon us. Some of our highlights over the past few weeks include:
- Graham ran two of his fastest half marathons.
- Emma's longest run was over 3 hours and she figures as that was without the marked route, cheering crowds and water stops that it was possibly harder than the marathon will be!

Graham's work has kindly given us a large donation and a pair of flights to give away. We've done a bit of comedy street fundraising to boost the fundraising total and we have also feed workmates cakes for charity cash. Thanks to everyone who has donated and given their time towards the cause - we really appreciate your support for this great charity.

We're still selling raffle tickets for our Monarch Airlines draw - see March update for details.

February Update:
We ran a Whist tournament for WellChild which took place on Sunday 15th February in the upstairs parlour of a lovely pub in Fitzrovia. We gave away prizes from the lovely folk at Lonely Planet and Simon Amstell and taught a room full of people how to beat us at cards. If you couldn't make it you can still help WellChild by sponsoring us directly through this site.
