It is now Monday 7th July and despite wind, rain, naked runners (not me) and train delays, Ali and I successfully completed the 10k yesterday.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO CONTRBUTE! Seeing so many runners running for so many worthy causes made me feel very humble and you can still make a difference. Thank you for continuing to put up with my badgering via email.

Those of you who know me well will know that without the support that Edwards Trust gave me in 1997 and beyond, I would probably not be able to do anything like this now.

In June 1997, my 5 year old son was killed by an 18year old drunk driver. One of the reasons I now still teach and can get my head off the pillow in the morning is because of Edwards Trust. The counsellors there, especially the much-loved and missed Keith, and Christine have helped me get my life back onto some sort of track. Help me to help them support others going through tensions and emotions that none of us are designed to cope with -  the death of a child!

Jamie's tragic death has changed me - some would say for the better - but I want to help change others lives for the better too.
