Why? Well because I'm going to Guatemala in July this year to help build houses. To do this I have to raise £1700 and after a slow start I'm now progressing quite nicely.

I'm going to at town called St Marcos in Guatemala (which is close to the west coast and Mexican border).  There are 16 of us going and during the 3 weeks we're away we are scheduled to build 2 houses.  The houses are built alongside the families who are going to live there and they buy the houses on affordable mortgages.

Apart from building the houses I'm going to be doing a few other events. Firstly I'm going to get back on my bike and do the Bangor Coastal Challenge this year - a 100km cycle around the Ards peninsula.
