Hi all! Welcome to my Leeds Half Marathon fundraising page.
I’m doing the half marathon on the 10 May with the hope of both getting to the end and raising as much as I can for my charity of choice, the Grown Up Congenital Heart Patients Association (GUCH). For those of you that don’t know what GUCH is let me quickly tell you. The charity supports young people and adults who have congenital heart defects.
I’ve got involved with GUCH this past year and it has been fantastic. I’d like to give something back and the Leeds Half Marathon has presented me with just that opportunity. It will be my first long run of any kind and the first race I’ve taken part in since the woefully laboured mile long field runs of my school days! But I’m hopeful that 13 miles should be a breeze!
So, whatever you can donate I would be most grateful. Thanks a lot and good luck to anyone else running it!

Update: Finished the race in an eat my dust, rubber burning 2 hours, 4 minutes and 13 seconds!!! With a time like that I’m more than set to compete with the Kenyans…… just add another 13 miles first!
I’m really happy with the time though. It was better than I expected. I’d like to beat the 2 hours, keep running and hopefully do another one. My page is active until the 10 August so there’s still time to help me reach my target!
I’d like to thank everyone who has sent me a donation or wished me luck. It has meant a lot so thank you!
Graham x
