Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

The ACT is the Royal Veterinary College’s registered charity. We purchase vital equipment for the College’s hospitals, provide assistance to the College’s research teams who pioneer new treatments and support the College’s commitment to excellence in veterinary education.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As a result of injury it now looks as though I am running the 2010 London Marathon on behalf of the ACT, to raise money  for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation facilities for animals we see at the RVC. Our existing facilities include ultrasound, laser and a hydotherapy pool. We'd like to add a water walker and other items to help seriously injured pets.

By changing the water level in the walker, we can gradually reduce the amount of support the pet gets, helping it  progress from swimming to land based exercise.

By contributing you'll be heping animals to make a full recovery after accidents and injuries or spinal surgery.

ACT funds go towards supporting both the Equine and Small Animal Services.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Royal Veterinary College Animal Care Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
