Pendleside Hospice - End to End Cycle Ride · 19 February 2009

Pendleside Hospice believes in nurturing and caring for those in our local community affected by advancing long term and life limiting illness, through to end of life care and bereavement, by providing a range of comprehensive and easily accessible services to support them on their journey.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Well, we set out from Lands End on 20th June on our mammoth bike ride to John O'Groats.  Using B-roads for the majority of the journey we covered a total distance 1,073 miles finishing in John O'Groats on 4th July.

The weather was brilliant all the way, too hot on some days, a constant intake of water and food kept us going though!

Only five punctures throughout the whole trip and no mechanical breakdowns.

Once again, 'thank you' to everyone who made the trip possible, especially to people who had faith in us and sponsored so generously, I cannot think of a better cause than Pendleside Hospice.

If you would still like to donate then there's still time, donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Pendleside Hospice Care for Burnley & Pendle gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you one and all for your donations.

Best wishes,

Graham, David, Howard, Richard, Adam & Andrew
