Well we did it!

The whole group battled through sun, sand and wind to finish an exhausting but exhilarating journey through Upper Egypt. I thought we were just cycling from Luxor to Aswan so it was a great surprise when I found that we were cycling back to Luxor again!

The sights in the simple villages and, in particular, the support we received from all the children along the way were quite spectacular.

The photo on the left shows the team at the Colossi of Memnon at the entrance to the Valley of the Kings near the finish.
