Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Well; its all getting very close now to April 26th. I am a bit behind in my schedule due to unforeseen events but.............never say never. To know that, with Jackies help, we are going to raise some much needed funds for the Hospice drives me on.

Yesterday (13th March) was my big run day and although I do not want to say how long I ran (trade secret) I am getting there. It so great to see that the weather is improving and I have a week in Spain coming up when I hope to catch up with my race schedule.

The weather was really kind to me in Spain and I managed to get in some good runs along the shoreline. As the overall length of the beach was 4miles I ran pass locals and tourists in the beach bars about  5  times. They must have thought I was mad. Not to say anything about Jackie who was scoffing pancakes and Baileys throughout the whole ordeal.

I am now into the last 2 weeks - great news as it means I now have to start shortening my runs. 10 miles a few days ago with 6miles, 4miles and 3 miles to do before the big day. Nervous final preparations.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St John's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me and a great cause.
