I DID IT!!!

100 lengths in 90 minutes in case you were wondering.

Can't believe I managed it but I did, I had great support and encouragement from everyone, but please there is just one last thing to do, let's reach the £500 target for Tony.

On 17th January 2010 a much loved husband, father, grandad and friend sadly passed away.

Tony Hughes was a kind and funny man who every month gave to children's charities. In April Tony would have celebrated his 68th birthday.

Tony was father to my son in law, Carl and a very missed grandad to my grandson George. Tony had requested donations to Childline in lieu of flowers at his funeral.

With this in mind I would like to do a sponsored swim on his birthday, 27 April in memory of him and raise an amount for his chosen charity that would make him proud.

I aim to swim 100 lengths (over 1.5 miles) breaststroke in 90 minutes. My challenge will be confirmed by a leisure centre member of staff.
