Hi

---

Thank you for visiting my fund raising page.  The gift of life as we all know is all too precious and sometimes can so easily be taken away.  The aim of Transplant Sport is to increase awareness of the need for organ donation so many can continue to enjoy the gift of life.

---

I had my bone marrow transplant for leukaemia in 1997 and played in my first transplant games in Bangkok in 2007 becoming the World Transplant Badminton Champion.  This is the secondary aim of TSUK which is to show that after organ donation you can lead a normal and active life.

---

Did you know that you are more likely to need a transplant than become a donor?  Did you know that it is cheaper for our already stretched NHS to provide a transplant for kidney failure than to treat people on dialysis?

---

The British team taking part in the World Transplant Games has done our nation proud by regularly finishing top of the medal table and with your support we can continue to do so.

---

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Transplant Sport UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
