Hello!

And welcome to the fundraising page for Matt Bainbridge, Grant Bennett & Roger Lee.  We’ve teamed up to run the 2009 London Marathon and hope to raise over £3,000 for our Charity, the Ron Pickering memorial Fund (Ron Pickering used to present ‘We are the Champions’ on BBC when we were kids, the one with crazy races across swimming pools on floating stuff).  It’s a really good cause and helps kids pursue their talents in sports, sponsoring us could help someone to Olympic gold in 2012 in something other than cycling!!  26.2 miles is a really long way, not to mention the hundreds of miles of training we’re all putting in, and with the enforced abstinence from the local pubs and kebab shops this really is a big effort.  So we’d be eternally grateful for any amount of sponsorship that you can afford to help us towards our target.
