The Werewolves of London Special Ice Hockey Club is unique in that it is the only non-profit organisation in the UK that is dedicated to providing an opportunity for children and young adults with disabilities and special needs to participate in the sport of ice hockey.

Story

Thank you for visiting our page.

As part of Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners' 50th anniversary celebrations, as a company we are aiming to raise £50,000 for a range of local charities.

We, (Becky, Steven and Adam), three members of the Graphic Design team, have opted to attempt the 54 mile cycle from Clapham Common in London, to sunny (but very hilly) Brighton. We will be joined by other NLP staff and some of our friends.

After numerous discussions of hiring tandems, rickshaws and all manner of other multi-wheeled machines, we decided that to ensure we were still speaking to each other by Monday morning, we'd be better sticking with the 'every man / woman for themselves' philosophy and use our own bikes.

Only one problem: Adam doesn't yet have a bike and now has only a few weeks to get training... to be continued...

We are raising money for Werewolves of London, a parent-led charity which is run by volunteers and offers a special needs ice hockey programme for children and adults who have development and learning disabilities. They are based in South London.

Any money you can spare towards our cause will be greatly appreciated by us, NLP and our chosen charity.
