On 20 September 12 athletic, keen competitors (ok, well, not strictly true in all cases!) will run the Great North Run, covering 13.1 miles. For many of us this is our first half marathon and we're completing it both to challenge ourselves, but more importantly to raise money for the vital and important work that the Rainbows charity complete day-in, day out.
If you can sponsor us you donations would be greatly appreciated and go towards a very worthy cause. All amounts will be £ for £ matched by Barclaycard and if elligible for Gift Aid will attract a further 25% from the government. This means that a £20 donation could be worth £45 to Rainbows.
