Story

Myself and my old pal are cycling 318 miles round the Highlands from 22nd - 26th June 2011. Why? Well, we want to pedal for pounds for two very, very good causes - the Highland Rheumatology Unit and Ross Memorial Hospital in Dingwall.

The Ross Memorial Hospital is a small Community Hospital providing comprehensive out-patient and casualty care close to home for folk throughout Ross-shire and West Ness. It has a 17-bed acute ward for patients who are primarily, but not exclusively, elderly and also accommodates a DEXA scanner, used in the diagnosis of osteoporosis, which is available as a Highland-wide resource. Over the years, the Ross Memorial has looked after my family and friends and I'd like to see this continue so all donations from this page will be going there.

You can donate here online and its secure. If you Gift Aid your donation, Mr Taxman doesn't get his share so more of your money goes to the NHS Endowment Trust Fund for the Ross Memorial Hospital.

Donating will be much easier than the cycle - and more pounds will make me pedal faster!

Thank You!

Julie
