Story

Thank you to Everyone who supported us last Friday and Saturday. Your increderbly generous donations have helped us raise £520 to date. Below is some more information on Wings of Hope. If you have any other questions then please email us at brighton2colombo@live.co.uk.

Wings of Hope is an organisation that provides free education to poor and orphaned children in developing countries.

A solid education is the best way out of poverty. The education they provide help children break the cycle of dependency, and become providers for their communities. As the saying goes: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for life.”

Wings of Hope currently funds and supports several educational projects across the developing world and in the UK: They support an existing school in India and will soon be opening a second school, which will be entirely funded and run by the Wings of Hope.

In Malawi, they help fund an Orphan Support Centre, aimed at children whose parents have fallen victim to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. An educational programme is integrated into the Centre.
