We provide skilled and compassionate care to people with a life-limiting illness.

Story

The Great Valley Run is back for it's 6th year!

The event has grown exponentially since it's inception in 2005, raising thousands of pounds for the wonderful Pilgrims Hospice http://www.pilgrimshospice .org/.
The Hospice care for people with illnesses that can not be cured including cancer, heart failure, respiratory conditions and neurological diseases and they do it absolutely amazingly. To keep delivering care to those that need it the most, Pilgrims Hospice has to raise £8 million each year. So any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.

Like the years preceding, we will be running the (approximate) 10km course, while the walkers will complete their 5km course starting and finishing from the Mermaid Pub in Bishopsbourne (
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=619035&y=152480&z=0&ar=Y) in the great British Tradition of wearing ridiculous costumes (and sometimes very little costume at all) on the coldest of winter days!

We'll be starting the run at 12pm (that's midday) on Monday 27th Dec if you fancy joining us but if you can't make it feel free to leave your email address when you donate and we'll send you the usually disturbing/hilarious photos.

So dust off the old Adidas Gazelles, dig out that fairy costume from the attic and run/walk off some of the christmas calories!
