Story

HOT OFF THE PRESS...

It was a bit cold at the start but once I switched on, things heated up very quickly. I was steaming along for the first few miles but stopped at Cutty Sark to take care of some garments and nearly got flattened in the crowd! Got board around Isle of Dogs but pressed on relentlessly... I was worried that I would run out of steam and end up in a pile of washed up runners towards the end but finally glided across the finish in just under 5 and a half shirts. Feeling much smarter now, though still a bit stiff around the collar.

Thank you all for your generous support. Long live the legend of...

THE IRON MAN

--------

I am going to try an Extreme Ironing Marathon this year. I think this involves running while conducting ironing tasks. All necessary equipment must be carried including an iron, an ironing board and a supply of creased garments.

I hope that I will see you on the day. Feel free to bring additional garments that you would like ironed and I will take care of them for you there and then.

In the meantime, please sponsor my madness to help me raise money for Little Havens Children's Hospice.

Thank you!

Greg
