Story
I'm taking part in the London 10 kilometre run on July 12 to raise money for the road safety charity Brake.
There are two reasons why I've decided to do the run, firstly, I've wanted to get fit for some time, but I've never really had the motivation to do it, which is where Brake comes in.
A friend of mine, James Holden died in a car crash in December 2006, he was only 18-years-old and had his whole life infront of him.
He was on the path to be a successful musician, which everybody could tell was going to happen.
I may not have known James as well as some, but he had a real ambition and motivation for what he was doing with his music.
So with James as my inspiration I've started my first bit of exercising for around 4 years, and if any money I can raise manages to highlight being safer on the roads or help grieving families then all the better.
