Story

I am running the Cambourne 10k in April for the Ian Edwards Cancer Break Trust. This is technically preparation for running the Birmingham half marathon later this year, which i will also be doing for Ian's trust.

My friend Ian passed away in 2010 from T Cell Lymphoma. You can find out more about him and the trust set up in his memory at http://www.ianedwardscbtrust.org.uk/

As someone who prior to this year firmly believed that running should only be done when chased by bears (or other large hungry beast... i'm not picky) and to date has run no more than 5k this will be likely a serious challenge for me. I am hoping to raise some money for a deserving cause whilst causing myself extreme physical discomfort and will truly appreciate any support.

Here's the official Just Giving blurb:

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
