Chilli Challenge · 31 October 2013

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Justgiving page.

On 16th November 2013 a group of 20 fools will be taking on the Chilli Challenge in Clapham South secret location.

For the past couple of months I have been growing the Trinidad Scorpion, the hottest chilli in the world; you can read more about this beast here.http://www.firstnews.co.uk/news/scorpion-chilli-named-hottest-in-the-world-i9235

Because of the lack of sunshine we have in this country (and especially this year), I have grown these chillis which are native to Trinidad and Tobago using an LED growlight and grow tent from growlightuk.com.

With enough chillis for 20 people a group of us have decided to get together and each eat a chilli to raise money for Centrepoint.

Centrepoint is a very important charity to us in London. Not only does it provide safe housing for young homeless people, but it also provides crucial support and advice with regards to health, employment and finances, but to name a few. The charity also provides these young people with a sense of home and belonging, so it’s a great cause.

The event will be filmed for your pleasure.
