On September 11th I will be travelling down to Land's End to embark on an exciting challenge, cycling the length of Britain, 1000 miles in 10 days!

Having seen the difference in care and treatment, seen positive results like my dad, who had skin and then colon cancer which was picked up early through checks for the skin cancer. Also other family members and friends who have been through their fight against cancer. I feel ongoing research is important and will make a difference going forward.

I would like to dedicate this ride to Carmina my lovely sister, Ray Claire's dad, Natalie our good friend, Joyce Claire's nan, Ken and Trevor our friends dad's, Dave who we sadly lost recently also to the people we know (and those we don't know) who are fighting cancer and to those who have won their fight, I have true respect for you all.

I will be raising money for Cancer Research UK and St Luke's Hospice (Basildon and Thurrock), both charities have made a difference in our live's through their continued hard work.
