Phoebe Gorgeous was the beginning of rescuing guinea pigs for me. She came from a local pet shop when Emily had been bereaved and was in need of a friend. 4 days later Phoe gave birth to 2 stillborn pups, the pet shop said it was normal with first litters and not to worry, she could have more!

This made me want to do more to help guineas in our area and make rescue guinea pigs available to the public so that they didn't have to buy from pet shops giving out incorrect information- that was the start of Planet Guinea and Reading Guinea Pig Rescue...
