The Civil Service Benevolent Fund is the principal occupational charity for all current, former, and retired civil servants, and employees of associated public sector organisations. It provides help, advice, and grant giving services, and last year alone gave nearly £4 million in financial assistance to over 9,000 people.

Gus is aiming to improve on last year's time (56:30) and raise lots of money for the Civil Service Benevolent Fund.
