As you can see in the photo, no one can accuse me of being a natural at the Marathon; I am, however, determined to give it one last go to see if I can at least get close to breaking the 4 hour barrier, (they say the camera never lies, but NYC was 4:22 from crossing the start line to the finish, so it's not as hopeless as it might seem).
I'm raising money again for Trinity Hospice. The work that Trinity Hospice does day in and day out is extraordinary, and should give us all a welcome sense of perspective if we ever feel like times are "tough". I hope that you will support this fantastic cause by supporting me, especially as most charities are likely to find 2009 an especially difficult environment to raise money in.
I usually run listening to my ipod, but (as long as I can download it from iTunes) I will listen to a playlist comprising only the music/track suggestions of all donors as I trudge my way around the London Marathon, so please let me know via the "comments" section what you'd like me to put on my ipod "Marathon Playlist" (Artist and Track).
Many thanks,
Guy
