UPDATE

Course completed in 1hr 56mins, my compatriot (Scott) got injured while skiing 2 weeks before and didn't make it to the starting gate although he was there to cheer me on.

Scott & Guy will be attempting a half marathon on 5th April 2009.

We have chosen the Chris Hoy Half Marathon in Edinburgh as it is all downhill!!!

We are running for the Lothian Autistic Society who do great work to support parents of Autistic Children all over the Lothians. As well as advice thay also run many events including Summer days out for the kids to give Mums and Dads a break .

Guy's son, Max, has benefited on a number of occasions from this support. We would like to repay some of that generosity by running for them in this event.
