Many thanks for visiting the GVA Grimley GNR09 page.  There are over 10 GVA staff members entered into this year’s Great North Run on behalf of the Cash for Kids Children’s Charity. 

Many of our entrants have also set up their own Just Giving Page linked direct to the Charity.  This page is intended for general sponsorship and your donation will be greatly appreciated. 

The staff at GVA Grimley running on behalf of Cash for Kids include several seasoned veterans and some first-timers, all of whom have been in training for several months in order to complete the run.   

Cash for Kids is the new name for Make a Child Smile. The Children’s Charity is owned by TFM Radio and Magic 1170 Radio, and aims to make a significant difference to sick and deprived children in Tees Valley, South County Durham and North Yorkshire.   

The charity is now in its 13th year. 2008 was its most successful year with over £581,000 raised to support 15,000 of the area’s most needy children.  The Charity aims to raise £600,000.00 in 2009.
