Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) is hard to describe and even harder to diagnose because its symptoms are complex, can occur in every imaginable combination and is life changing.

People with severe ME can be completely bedridden, unable to perform basic tasks without assistance, whereas those with milder illness may be able to work full time but feel nagged by a persistent feeling that their energy has waned, or their "get-up-and-go" has got up and went. It can strike anyone at any time.  ME is often described as “the flu that never ends.”
