Haggis Hike · 24 January 2018

We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

On the morning of the 24th, Gary Armstrong will deliver the finest Haggis (made in Jedburgh) to a group of former Newcastle Falcons players, at the Carter Bar (Scottish Border). Over the following day and a half, they will carry the Haggis 50+ miles over arduous terrain, in hostile conditions, in order to present the Haggis to Doddie Weir at the top table at a Burns Night, at Kingston Park in Newcastle on the 25th. Along the way, the team will be joined by family, friends and supporters of Doddie and we hope to raise as much money as possible for his Foundation. Please follow @Hike4Doddie on Twitter and include #haggishike on any tweets.
